WOMAN SERIES - Beth Schuman of 8 Faces
Welcome to our WOMAN SERIES, where we get to know the women behind the brands and blogs we know and love.
Our first Q&A is with Beth Schuman, the incredible woman behind 8 Faces Boundless Solid oil, whose praises have been sung by the likes of GOOP, Glamour, Allure and many more…including Us here at Kamomile!
Why we love it?
It’s silky smooth consistency is absolute velvet on the skin, and with the high potency of amla berry and other rich in Vitamin C ingredients, takes skin care to all new antioxidant infused heights! For a healthy glow from head to toe ;)
The slogan behind the brand is, “Self Care is Sacred.”
Sounds right up our alley! So we dove into the idea with Beth herself to find out just what this means to her!
Q: What does self care mean to you?
A: Self care for me means doing something good for myself without distractions.
As much as I would love to luxuriate in the tub every night it’s just not possible.
So when I do things during my day that allow time to just be present and grateful that feels like a self care moment.
My favourite self-care time is to be on a walk in nature with my dogs (no phone) and just be in the stillness and beauty of my surroundings.
Q: What are your 5 summer skin essentials?
Boundless Solid Oil
Goop exfoliating instant facial
Kopari coconut rose toner
Q: Favourite summer food/drink:
A: flow water…with lots of lemon
avocado, blueberry, raspberry, spinach, moringa, chlorella, chia seed and oat milk smoothie
bone broth (yes it’s hot out….but..)
grilled artichokes with garlic aoli..sooo good!
Q: What is your absolute favourite thing about 8 Faces Boundless Solid Oil?
A: My fave thing about Boundless Solid Oil is its versatility. People DM me about all the ways they have used it from daily AM/PM use, to helping their child’s eczema, to applying on cuts and scrapes to help fade scars, get a dewy glow and soothing sunburnt skin…
I also love that all the ingredients are USDA certified organic. So you can feel safe using it knowing you are doing something good for yourself.
Q: And last but not least, what’s the best advice you’ve ever received?
A: is trust your gut…as cliche as it sounds :)
my gut instincts have been my guiding light through all the major and minor shifts in my life.
